Hospice & Palliative Care Massage

After a comprehensive consultation, your therapist will create a Comfort Care Plan. Using a combination of modalities to address disease-specific symptoms, each plan is designed to complement any current treatment and enhance quality of life. Written approval from your primary physician will be required if your are currently in a hospice or palliative care program. Please contact for service rates and to schedule your consultation.

Therapeutic Bodywork

Therapeutic Bodywork integrates a variety of techniques and each session is customized to fit your individual needs. Everyone's body is unique and massage methods (or modalities) may vary session to session. For example, a client coping with chronic pain may benefit from care that differs from a patient receiving treatment for acute injury. Therapeutic bodywork is appropriate for all ages, but some cases be may contraindicated. Your provider will work with your Doctor, PT or Nurse to ensure your safety, so open communication about your health history is strongly encouraged.

Modalities include but are not limited to:

DEEP TISSUE WORK
Mild to moderate pressure (and deep pressure, only when indicated) is used to focus on muscles below the superficial layers of tissue.

STRETCHING
Passive and active techniques are used to improve flexibility, increase range of motion and restore function to joint-supporting muscles.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Techniques using gentle pressure focus on relieving tension, specifically in connective tissue or fascia.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY
Direct pressure is applied to concentrated area of intense pain and tension.

CUPPING
Silicone cups are placed on the skin's surface to create space between the layers of soft tissue and encourage blood flow to aid healing in areas of acute pain.

REFLEXOLOGY
Light to moderate pressure is applied to specific points on the hands or feet to stimulate or calm external and internal nerve reflexes experiencing hyper/hypo-sensitivity.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Light touch is administered over the close to support the nervous system reconcile pain, discomfort and neurological dysfunction.

Mobile Chair Massage

15, 20, 30 minutes: $80

Mobile, chair massage is a popular and convenient way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or office. Massage is administered in a specialized, ergonomic chair and performed over the clothing.

Treat your employees, volunteers or guests to on-site, chair massages in 15, 20 or 30 minute increments. $80 per hour with a two hour minimum booking. Reduced rates are available for teachers, first responders, non-profits and frontline healthcare workers.
